Language areas

English, course development, - Merete Jacobsen

Merete-Jacobsen.jpgEnglish is Master-Ling’s largest language area, and there is a rising need for training within specific areas and in specialised terminology. As course developer for the team of English instructors, Merete is responsible for ensuring that both our oral and written courses, including our e-learning courses and specialised courses, match the needs of our clients.

Background
Merete holds a cand.mag. She joined MASTER-LING in 1997.

 

 

 

Danish, course development, - Helle Kallager

Helle Kallager-billede.jpgAs course developer for the team of Danish instructors, Helle is responsible for the coordination of different types of Danish teaching: Danish as a foreign language, written communication for Danes, one-day courses in Danish grammar and intensive courses in connection with postings to Denmark.

Background
Helle holds a cand. mag. She joined MASTER-LING in 2008.

 

 

 

Romance languages, course development, - Marianne Brofald

Marianne-Brofald.jpgOur training in the Romance languages - French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese - is most often organized as intensive courses, so that the language can be used effectively on a forthcoming business trip, sales campaign or posting abroad. As language director, Marianne is responsible for coordinating and developing courses to meet the specific needs within Romance languages, so that the training remains effective and tailored to the client's needs.

Background
Marianne holds a cand. phil. and has lived in Luxembourg for a number of years. She has been attached to both the European Commission and the European Parliament.

Marianne joined MASTER-LING in 1996.

  

German, course development, - Birgit Kastberg

Birgit-Kastberg.jpg When planning German courses, Birgit emphasises practical communication strategies, such as social conventions, company etiquette and cultural differences, and Germany’s current social, political and economic situation.

Background
Birgit holds a cand. mag. and a degree in international marketing, as well as a Master's degree in IT, language and teaching.
Birgit joined MASTER-LING in 1990.

 

 

 

 Swedish, course development, - Gunnel Munck,

Gunnel-Munck.jpgAs a language consultant for companies working in both Swedish and Danish, Gunnel focuses in particular on the differences and similarities that exist linguistically, culturally and in business.

Background
Gunnel trained as a teacher in Sweden and in Denmark and has specialized in  teaching  Swedish to  people with a background in the Scandinavian languages.

Gunnel joined MASTER-LING in 1994.
